There is a small exhibition at
Madrid's Casa Sefarad of
glass lamps found during the excavation of the fifteenth-century synagogue in the medieval
city of Lorca.
They were all in serious need of reconstruction; striking, though is the extent to which they have the same shape as
mosque lamps from other Mediterranean sites.
